Shahdol News: In Madhya Pradesh’s Shahdol district, those involved in illegal business of liquor are not desisting from their antics. Whereas, to control this, action is taken from time to time by the police. In this episode, the Gohparu police have seized a large quantity of illegal English liquor by raiding the hands of 4 people doing illegal liquor business. This action of the Gohparu police has created a stir among the liquor mafia.
According to the information received, the police had received information from the informer that illegal trade of liquor was being done by some people in the rural areas of Gohparu police station area. On which the Gohparu police while raiding Hanumanti Sahu in village Godaru and Sanjay Singh in village Bharri and Nirbhay Singh in village Chuhiri, the Gohparu police raided the Thiho of Nilesh Jaiswal and recovered a large amount of illicit liquor. Case 329/23,331/23,332/23 Section 34 (1) Excise Act is being registered against the four accused in Gohparu police station separately.
On the other hand, the SP’s special team, while taking action to seize a large quantity of intoxicants, seized a large quantity of banned intoxicant injections. While taking action against 3 others including father, son and daughter who do drug business, they have been arrested. Action has been taken against Asad Ali, Vikas Lodhi, Dharmendra Kushwaha along with father Santosh Gupta, daughter Pooja Gupta and son Prince Gupta. Shahdol SP Kumar Prateek’s special team got this success. This action has been taken in Kotwali and Sohagpur police station area.
