Maruti Suzuki Getting More Bookings For Jimny After Revealing Its Price Maruti Suzuki Invicto | Maruti Suzuki Jimny: As soon as the price is revealed, there is a tremendous jump in the booking of Maruti Suzuki Jimny.

Maruti Suzki Booking Increase: Shashank Srivastava, Senior Executive Officer, Marketing & Sales, Maruti Suzuki India told in an interview with ABP, that as soon as the price of Maruti Suzuki Jimny is revealed, its bookings are increasing. The price of the recently launched Maruti’s off-road car Jimny was a topic of discussion in the market.

Giving further details, Mr. Srivastava revealed that the Jimny will come in a 5-door configuration and 4X4 as a standard feature. On the other hand, talking about the price, there is a lot of demand for its 4X2 variant, which will be economical in terms of price as well. But the 4X4 capability is the backbone of the Maruti Suzuki Jimny. Hence, there is no expectation of a 4X2 model for now.

Giving further information, he said that since the price of Maruti Jimny was revealed, bookings for this car have increased from 90 per day to 150 per day. At present, the demand for Maruti Suzuki is very high, due to which the company will first assess the sales for a few months to meet this demand.

The starting price of Maruti Suzuki Jimny is Rs. 12.7 Lakh. The car was offered with standard 4X4 and 6 airbags. The Jimny can also be seen for the army, like the popular off-roader Gypsy, but it will first be produced for customers. As per the feedback, the Jimny was developed with a 5-door variant to make it more practical for India. Talking about the engine, the Jimny comes with a 1.5l petrol engine mated to a 5-speed standard manual gearbox and a 4-speed automatic torque converter.

The Jimny will be sold through Nexa outlets and has been added to the SUV segment to increase market share. Apart from this, Maruti wants to further increase the sales of the Nexa brand through its Jimny and Franks vehicles. Soon the company will include another MPV car Invicto in it. This MPV will be the most premium product of Nexa, which is based on the Innova Highcross. Booking for this will be started soon. The company will reveal this car on 5th July.
