In the pilgrimage town of Omkareshwar in Khandwa district of Madhya Pradesh, a suspension wire of the suspension bridge was lying closed for several months due to breakage. Now the maintenance of the suspension bridge has been completed. This bridge can be opened for devotees in a few days. After the inspection and approval of the team of engineers of Indore, it will be opened for the common people.

Actually today the team of special engineers is doing the moment testing of the bridge. During this, Khandwa Collector Anoop Kumar Singh and Punasa SDM Chandrashekhar Solanki also reached to inspect the bridge. NHDC has completed the repair work of the bridge. But the officials do not want to take any risk.

That’s why testing is being done by expert engineers of SGITS College from Indore. Punasa SDM Chander Singh Solanki said that the technical preparation for the testing of the bridge has been done. A special team is testing it. Soon the bridge will be opened for the common people only after all the reports are OK.
