Upcoming Honda SUVs: Honda Cars India is going to start selling its new Elevate SUV in the next few months. The company will enter the mid-size SUV segment with this vehicle. The company has already confirmed that the new SUV will be powered by a 1.5-litre, 4-cylinder petrol engine mated to two gearbox options – a 6-speed manual and a 7-speed CVT automatic. Along with this, the company also plans to bring its electric version to the market in the next three years. According to some reports, Honda may announce the prices of its SUV in September before the upcoming festive season. This information comes from a dealer meeting where Honda revealed the tentative price and launch timeline for its SUV.
Price and Variants
Honda Elevate is expected to come in four variants in the market and its ex-showroom price will be between Rs 11 lakh to Rs 22 lakh. That is, its prices will be similar to the prices of its competitors. Its main rivals include the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos and the Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara. The ex-showroom price of Creta ranges between Rs 10.87 lakh to Rs 19.20 lakh, while the ex-showroom price of Seltos ranges from Rs 10.89 lakh to Rs 10.89 lakh and the ex-showroom price of Grand Vitara ranges between Rs 10.70 lakh to Rs 19.79 lakh.

The new Honda SUV is expected to get a host of new features such as a free-standing 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment unit with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, 7-inch semi-digital instrument cluster, wireless charging, single-pane sunroof Including many other features will also be available. Also, the Sensing ADAS suite will also be available from Strong Honda, which includes adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning, lane-keep assist, collision mitigation braking system and high beam.
Will compete with Creta
This SUV will compete with Hyundai Creta, in which automatic and manual transmission options are available with diesel and petrol engines.
