Kumar Inder, Jabalpur. Sanjana Barkade, a national baseball player, committed suicide by hanging herself on June 5 in Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh. The love jihad angle came to the fore in the case, after which the police arrested the accused Abdul Mansoori alias Rajan from Rewa. Sanjana took the extreme step only after Abdul blackmailed her. On the other hand, demanding strict action in this case, Hindu organizations have gheraoed the Sanjivani Nagar police station and demanded that the case be sent to the fast track court and the accused be hanged and bulldozed at the house of the accused.

Please tell that Sanjana Barkade, originally a baseball player from Seoni district, took her life after being a victim of love jihad. Muslim accused Abdul Mansuri, a resident of Rewa district, befriended Sanjana by claiming that he was a Hindu and after revealing his real identity, started pressurizing Sanjana to convert to Islam. Abdul Mansuri impersonated Sanjana by disguising herself as Rajan and recorded personal photos and videos during their meetings. When Sanjana came to know that Rajan was actually a Muslim and not a Hindu, she broke off the friendship, after which Abdul started carrying out vicious acts to fulfill his Jihadi plan. He made the video and chat viral on social media.

Distressed by blackmail and threats, Sanjana committed suicide by hanging herself in a rented house at Gangasagar in Sanjivani Nagar area of Jabalpur on June 5. When he took the extreme step, his parents had gone to attend a marriage ceremony at Harrai in Seoni. Sanjana was a second year BA student at Mankunwar Bai College, Jabalpur and was a national baseball player. At present, the police is engaged in the investigation of the case.
