Renault Cars Sales Report: French automobile manufacturer Renault India has now strengthened its foothold in India. The company has recently produced 10 lakh units of cars, and Renault has achieved sales of 9 lakh cars in India. Renault is present in the country for the last 16 years. The company entered India for the first time in partnership with Mahindra. Both the companies launched the Mahindra Logan in 2005 as the first car under the partnership.
Partnership with Mahindra ended
Renault started working as an independent company in India by ending its partnership with Mahindra in 2011 and launched its first car, Renault Fluence. Presently the company is independently present in India for 16 years and the company has sold 9 models in the country. Models like Duster, Lodgy, Triber and Kwid have been successful products for the company in India. Currently, the company sells Kwid, Kaigar and Triber.
Manufacturing plant is in Chennai
The company has achieved this production figure on the basis of its state-of-the-art manufacturing facility located in Chennai. 4.80 lakh cars can be produced in this plant every year. Apart from this, Renault has also invested a lot in manufacturing, technology and talent. Due to which the position of the company has been strengthened. The company produces high standard and efficient cars from this plant.

Renault is preparing 6 new models for India with Japanese company Nissan Motors. Which will include two compact SUVs and four SUV cars. Which can be launched in 2025. For this, both the companies have prepared to invest Rs 5,300 crore. Currently, Renault India sells the Kwid Triber and Kiger in the country and exports these cars to a total of 14 countries including the East African region, South Africa and the South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation.
