ONDC Sell Tomatoes: Tomato prices have been skyrocketing in India for the last few months. Talking to Moneycontrol on this matter, ONDC Chief T Koshy has informed that in the last six days, ONDC has sold a total of 10,000 kg of tomatoes in Delhi. It is worth noting that this is the first time since the inception of this digital platform that it has received more than 11 lakh orders.

Big sale through Paytm

Recently ONDC has started selling tomatoes in partnership with Paytm. Since then it is getting a large number of orders. According to the report published in Hindustan Times, 60 percent of the total tomato sales came through Paytm. ONDC has sold 6,000 kg of tomatoes through Paytm in Delhi NCR. It is worth noting that at present the retail price of tomatoes in Delhi is Rs.150 to 180 per kg. And in Noida, it is available between Rs 200 and Rs 220 per kg.
