Oben Rohr Electric Bike: The Bengaluru based electric vehicle startup is almost ready to deliver its electric bike, which may start this week itself. The company has opened its first experience center in Bangalore, due to which the company is expected to get bookings of up to 21,000.

On the other hand, according to the information given by the company, the Oben Rohrer electric motorcycle is in accordance with the new rules and safety standards issued by the Government of India.

Talking about the power train of this electric bike, the company has used a 10kW IPMSM motor in it, which has been developed by the company itself. Which helps this bike to catch a speed of 0-40 km/h in just 3 seconds. The top-speed of this bike is 100 km/h. Apart from this, a 4.4 kWh battery has been used in this bike. The IDC riding range of this bike is up to 187 km. While talking about its charging, according to the company’s claim, it can be fully charged at home in 120 minutes i.e. 2 hours.

The company has used a battery with LFP (Lithium Ferrous Phosphorus) based cell technology in this motorcycle, as well as designed the bike completely by itself. Which has twice the battery life and 50% more heat capacity than the rest.

Company preparing for next product

Oberon Electric is now working on developing and testing the prototype of its next product, which will be launched in the next year i.e. 2024. Apart from this, the company is also working on a battery with advanced technology. So that by increasing the power, range, and life, the time taken for its charging can be reduced.
