Mahindra Scorpio-N Guinness World Record: Mahindra has announced that with its popular model Scorpio-N, a team of two professional drivers has officially set a new Guinness World Record for the fastest time across the Simpson Desert with a production model. The record-breaking journey has been verified by the officials of Guinness World Records themselves.

Mahindra Scorpio-N made this record by crossing 1100 sand dunes in 13 hours at a temperature of 50 degree Celsius (outside). The SUV was driven by Jean Corbett (driver) and Ben Robinson (co-driver). Along with this, there was also a team of photographers and videographers, who worked to shoot it.

The record-breaking journey started early in the morning from Birdsville and covered a distance of 385 kms to finish at Alkaseltzer Bor within 13 hours.
