Kia Carens Second Recall: South Korean carmaker Kia has issued a recall for a large number of its MPVs in India. The company has issued this recall for 30,297 units manufactured between September 2022 and February 2023. The company will work to correct the deficiency in the digital instrument cluster of these vehicles through software updates.

According to the information given by the company, the company needed to issue a recall for these vehicles because of this. So that the problems faced by the customers in booting in the digital instrument cluster can be removed. Due to which the problem of black screen is being seen in some units, which will be removed by updating the software.
The company will ensure access to vehicle owners
The car manufacturer will contact the owners of this MPV and advise them to visit the nearest service centers around them. So that their car can be checked and if a deficiency is found in their car, then it can be rectified by updating it through software.
Recall issued for the second time for this car
This is the second time that the company has issued a recall for this car for the second time after its launch. This car was launched in February 2022 and 40,000 units of it were recalled in October itself. The reason for which was found to be a fault in its airbag control system. Which was fixed through software update.

The company sells its MPV in the Indian market at a price ranging from Rs 10.45 lakh to Rs 18.90 lakh. This car is the third best selling vehicle of the company in India.
The Kia Carens can be bought in India with 6-seater and 7-seater options. The company offers this car in one diesel and two petrol engines, in which 1493cc diesel engine which gives power of 112.8hp and torque of 250Nm. While its 1482cc petrol generates power of 155.6hp and torque of 253Nm.
