This scheme is run towards the Haryana government, which was started in 2015 and the name of this scheme is ‘Aapki Beti, Hamari Beti Yojana’. The objective of this scheme is to prevent feticide and reduce the ratio between girl and boy. Aapki Beti Hamari Beti Yojana of Haryana Government is run by the Ministry of Women and Child Development of the state.

When do you get this amount

Under this scheme of the Haryana Government, Rs 21000 is invested with LIC for the first girl child of Scheduled Caste or BPL families and second child girl child from any caste. This amount can be withdrawn when the daughter turns 18.

Who can get benefit

Scheduled caste and BPL families can take advantage of this scheme from the Haryana government. Only residents of Haryana can avail the benefit of this scheme. Under this scheme, daughters born on or after January 22, 2015 will get the benefit.
