Gmail New feature for faster meetings: Google has started adding a calendar tool to Gmail, with the help of which you can easily create, share or schedule a meeting. With the help of this new feature, you will be able to create a new meeting in Gmail itself, which will save you a lot of time and less effort. You will get 2 options in the calendar icon. One is “Create an event” and the other is “Offer times you’re free”.

Offer times you’re free is a new feature with the help of which users can bring any meeting details directly from the calendar to Gmail. To use this feature, users simply click on the calendar icon while composing or replying to an email and from there, select “Offer Time You Are Free”. Doing so will open the calendar in the sidebar and from here you can schedule a meeting with the recipient by highlighting different days and time slots. As soon as the receiver chooses any one time, he will automatically get an invitation. The new feature helps you set up meetings with customers, partners or people whose Google Calendar you don’t see.
Create Event is an older feature that creates a Google Calendar event with the event name set as the subject and the participant receiver. Along with this, there is also information related to the meeting in the email body so that people can know about the event.
Note, the new feature is currently available for one-on-one meetings. If the recipient list includes multiple people, only the person who selects the time first will be added to the event. This feature is available for both Google Workspace and personal Google Account users.
