Facelift will be based on the model
Currently, the testing model of the Creta EV is based on the current Creta version only. However, its final model available for sale may be based on the new Creta facelift. Significantly, the Hyundai Creta facelift could be launched in early 2024.
Battery and Range
Talking about the powertrain of Hyundai Creta EV, it is expected that its powertrain may be similar to Hyundai Kona EV. The Kona Electric gets a 100kW permanent magnet synchronous motor, which is mated to a 39.2kWh lithium-ion battery pack. The Kona EV offers an ARAI-certified range of 452 km on a single charge.
who will compete
The Hyundai Creta electric SUV will compete with MG’s ZS EV, which gets a 50.3 kWh lithium-ion battery pack, which gives a range of 418 km per charge. This car is available in 3 variants. Its ex-showroom price is Rs 23.39 lakh.
