Range Rover Velar Facelift Booking: Luxury vehicle manufacturer Land Rover has started booking for the Range Rover Velar facelift in India. The delivery of this SUV will start in September 2023. The Range Rover Velar facelift was launched in the global market in February, and has received a number of cosmetic changes. The current Range Rover Velar has been on sale in India since 2018.

The Range Rover Velar facelift gets Land Rover’s new Pixel LED headlights with updated DRLs and signature grille. Otherwise, no other cosmetic update has been given in its profile. However, it now gets a fresh rear bumper and redesigned tail-lights.

The interiors of the Velar get a new dashboard design which is similar to the Range Rover and Range Rover Sport. It gets a new 11.4-inch rounded touchscreen running Land Rover’s Piwi Pro system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. The center console sports a clean design with very few buttons. The center console also gets a new storage space, along with a wireless charger and a classic gear lever.
Powertrain and Performance
The Range Rover Velar facelift gets a 2.0-litre petrol engine that generates an output of 250hp and 365Nm. Its top speed is expected to be 217 kmph. This car can accelerate from 0-100 kmph in 7.5 seconds. It is powered by a 2.0-litre diesel engine that generates an output of 204hp and 430Nm with a mild-hybrid system.
The new Range Rover Velar facelift can wade in 580 mm deep water. It is also equipped with an air suspension with ‘Elegant Arrival’ mode, which makes a difference of 40 mm in vehicle height when the vehicle is loaded and unloaded.
Range Rover Velar Facelift Competitors
Deliveries of the Range Rover Velar facelift are expected to begin from September 2023. Its prices will be announced in the coming weeks. The Velar facelift will compete with the Porsche Macan and the Jaguar F-Pace. Jaguar F-Pace ex-showroom price starts at Rs. 77.41 Lakh and goes up to Rs. 1.51 Crore.
