Anuppur News: Two Women Brutally Murdered in Anuppur Land Dispute, Three Accused Arrested and Villagers Set House on Fire, ADGP Announces Reward

Anuppur News: Nyamuddin Ali, Anuppur. Police has arrested Chhotan Rajak, his wife Sughri and son Bharat Rajak, three accused in the murder of two women in a land dispute in Madhya Pradesh’s Anuppur district. Shahdol Zone ADGP had announced a reward of 30 thousand on the accused. In a land dispute, on Tuesday, the accused attacked and brutally killed neighbors Jayanti Prajapati and Tarabai (mother-in-law and daughter-in-law) with sharp weapons.

According to the information, a dispute was going on for a long time in Barbaspur village of Bhalumada police station area regarding the land dispute. There was a dispute on Tuesday morning as well. After which the family of the accused brutally murdered the women in front of their own house with sharp weapons. Those who died include 56-year-old Tihara Bai and 36-year-old Janaki Bai.

It is being told that when both the women were coming home from the farm, then the accused stopped in front of the house on the roadside and started quarreling and kept an ax in his hand. First attacked Janaki. Due to which she died in front of the house. Seeing this, Tihara Bai tried to run away. As soon as she reached the road, the accused attacked her with an ax in such a way that she too collapsed on the road.

After this incident, the family and the villagers blocked the state highway. The villagers have not allowed the dead body to be lifted from the road. Arrested the accused and demanded action. Angry villagers set the house of the accused on fire. ADGP DC Sagar of Shahdol division inspected the spot and came to know the condition of the injured. District Hospital Anuppur had declared a reward of 30 thousand on the accused. Now on the second day the police have arrested the accused Chhotan Rajak, his wife Sughri and son Bharat Rajak.
