Ola Electric: Ola Electric has confirmed that it will offer the S1 in two new vibrant color schemes – Lime Green and Electric Blue. The new colors are expected to be offered on all three variants of the electric scooter – S1 Standard, S1 Pro and S1 Air. Currently it is available in 11 color options, which include Liquid Silver, Jet Black, Anthracite Grey, Matte Black, Coral Glam, Ocher, Porcelain White, Midnight Blue, Marshmallow, Neo Mint and Millennial Pink.

Ola is building a new manufacturing plant

Recently, Bengaluru-based electric two-wheeler manufacturer Ola has started the construction work of its Gigafactory. This plant will be India’s largest manufacturing plant, which will give a boost to the local production of electric vehicle batteries in the country. This new production plant of Ola will be spread over 115 acres in Krishnagiri, Tamil Nadu. The company has confirmed that production will start from here from the beginning of next year. It will have a production capacity of 5GWh (battery cell), and at its full capacity, it will have a capacity of 100GWh. Last year, the company had announced an investment of $500 million (about Rs 4,000 crore) to set up this battery innovation centre.

The company is expanding its network

Ola Electric aims to increase its sales network to 1,000 touchpoints in the coming months, and expand its experience across Tier I and Tier II cities to increase its EV penetration from 1-2% to 8-10% of the population. Setting up the centre.

Along with this, Ola Electric is running with a target of producing 50,000 units every month. Ola is working on plans to bring a series of new electric two-wheelers including its e-scooters and premium e-bikes. In the electric bike lineup, the company is preparing to bring a cruiser, an adventure tourer, a sports bike, a road bike and a mass-market bike.

Will compete with Ather 450X

The new variant of Ola’s S1 scooter can compete with the Ather 450X. It gets a range of 146 kilometers per charge. Although the details of the new variant of Abhi S1 have not been revealed.
