Mahindra XUV 700 and Scorpio N: As reported a while ago, Mahindra is working on increasing its production capacity to reduce the waiting period for its models including the XUV 700 and Scorpio-N. Then there was a waiting period of more than 1 year for both the SUVs depending on the variant and the city. But now a new media report has claimed that the waiting period for Mahindra XUV 700 and Scorpio-N has come down to 3 to 4 months.

Mahindra Scorpio waiting period

The most demanding vehicle of the company, Scorpio N, is getting a waiting period of 6-7 months on the Z2 petrol and 7-8 months on the diesel variant. While a waiting period of up to 12 months is being given for its Z4 and Z6 trim. There is a waiting period of up to 3 months on the Z8L AT petrol variant, up to 8 months on the Z8L AT diesel and up to 13 months on the top-selling Z8 trim.

The top spec Z8L MT petrol and diesel are available with waiting ticket periods of 7 to 8 months and 10 to 12 months respectively. In the recent past, the waiting period has come down to 3-4 months for almost all the variants. Whereas in November there was a waiting period of 22-25 months on its Z8 trim.

Mahindra XUV 700 waiting period

The Mahindra XUV 700 SUV has a waiting period of up to 4 months on the base model MX and AX3 petrol and diesel variants, while a waiting period of up to 6 months for the AX5 trim, up to 8 months for the AX7 trim and top-spec There is a waiting period of up to 9 months for the AX7L trim.

According to media reports, the waiting period for the top-spec AX7L trim has reduced by 6 months as compared to November last year, but the waiting period for the entry-level MX and AX3 petrol variants has increased by almost 2 months. While the waiting period of its diesel model has reduced by about six months. The company is aiming to produce around 10,000 units of the XUV700 every month by March 2024. Whereas at present this figure is around 6,000 units.
