Hero MotoCorp Is Testing A New 125cc Bike For The Indian Market

Hero 125cc Bikes: Hero MotoCorp is working on some big plans for the Indian market. The company has recently launched the new Xtreme 160R 4V with updated suspension, more powerful engine and some cosmetic changes, whose ex-showroom price starts from Rs. 1.27 lakhs. Hero is going to bring back its Karizma model in the market in the next few months. Apart from this, the company is preparing to introduce four new models in its premium motorcycle range.

Design

Recently a new bike from Hero was spotted during the prototype test. Which was completely covered. However, it could be a 125 cc motorcycle, which could incorporate design elements, engine and crankcase like Hero Glamor 125. It can see LED headlight, LED turn indicators, a sporty headlamp and front fairing. Along with this, a wide fuel tank with tank extension, an LED taillamp, one-piece type handlebar and split seat will also be available.

For braking, telescopic forks have been given at the front of the new Hero bike and monoshock at the rear. For braking, it will get power front disc and rear drum brake. It will get 6-spoke, split-type 17-inch alloy wheels. However, the details of its engine have not been revealed yet. But it is likely to get a 5-speed gearbox with the 125cc engine.

who will compete

The new Hero 125cc bike will compete with TVS Raider, which is doing very well in the market in this segment. Recently it has crossed the sales figure of 3 lakh units. It gets features like first in segment TFT cluster, connectivity technology and voice recognition.
