Google has introduced a new virtual try-on for apparel tool, which shows clothes to users using generative artificial intelligence (AI) and also gives them the option to select different body types. The tech giant said in a blogpost on Wednesday that with our new virtual try-on tool on Search, you can see if the piece is right for you before you buy it.
how does it work
Reportedly, our new generative AI model can take just a single clothing image and accurately reflect how it would drape, fold, seam, stretch and form wrinkles and shadows on a set of real models in various poses. Users can choose from a range of sizes XXS-4XL for people of different skin tones, body shapes and hair types.
can refine the product
US shoppers can now visually try on women’s tops from Google brands including Anthropologie, Everlane, H&M and LOFT. To use the feature, users can tap on the search for products with the Try On badge and select the model that matches theirs. The tech giant announced that US shoppers can now refine products using inputs such as colour, style and pattern.
And in addition to shopping in one store, you’re not limited to one retailer: You’ll see store options all over the web, he added. This feature is available on the top inside the product list.
