Accused working on ISIS module sent to jail: NIA did not seek police remand

Shabbir Ahmed, Bhopal. The accused working on the ISIS module arrested from Madhya Pradesh’s Jabalpur were presented in the court, from where all three have been sent to jail till July 8. NIA did not ask for police remand, so the court has sent him on judicial remand till July 8. All the three accused were produced in the special court of NIA today.

Explain that all the three suspected terrorists caught from Jabalpur used to work on the ISIS module. The accused have been charged with conspiracy to commit a violent terrorist incident.

Confessions of Syed Mashoor Ali, Mohammad Adil Khan and Mohammad Shahid, arrested on May 27, have come to the fore during interrogation. Told that there was preparation for blasts in Jabalpur Ordinance Factory. With the help of MP ATS, NIA is tracing from where the explosive material was to come. All three suspects were on the NIA’s radar for a year.
