TVS Ntorq 125 vs Honda Dio 125: Honda has recently launched its Dio 125 scooter in the market. Its ex-showroom price starts from Rs.83,400. This is Honda’s third product in the segment after the Grazia and the Activa 125. It is a premium product, which competes with TVS Ntorq. So let’s know which of the two is the best in which case.

Both the scooters look very sporty. The Honda Dio 125 has a length of 1,830mm, height 1,172mm, width 707mm, wheelbase 1,260mm and ground clearance 171mm. While TVS Ntorq has a length of 1,861 mm, height 1,164 mm, width 710 mm, wheelbase 1,285 mm and ground clearance 155 mm.

Dio 125 gets a 124cc single-cylinder engine, which generates power of 8.16 bhp and torque of 10.4 Nm. While the Ntorq gets a 124.8cc single-cylinder engine, which is available in two states of tune. It gets the option of 9.25 bhp and 10.5 Nm torque or 10.06 bhp and 10.8 Nm torque. Both the engines are mated to CVT gearbox.
Features Comparison
In terms of features, the TVS Ntorq is clearly ahead of the Honda Dio 125. The Ntorq Race Edition gets features like LED DRLs, automatic headlamps, GPS navigation, USB charging port and mobile connectivity. Also, voice assist is also available in its XT trim.
The Honda Dio 125 gets a smart key, which allows locking and unlocking of the vehicle without the need for a physical key as well as turning on the ignition. It also gets an ACG starter which supports passive start/stop. Both the scooters also get engine immobilizer and last park location assist.

The TVS Ntorq 125 is available in six variants, priced between Rs 87,023 to Rs 1.08 lakh, ex-showroom, while the Honda Dio 125 is available in only two variants, priced between Rs 86,160 to Rs 94,060, ex-showroom.

The TVS Ntorq 125 comes with more variants, features and price options than the Honda Dio 125. It also offers more performance than the Dio 125. Although the reliability of Honda’s engine and branding is high.
