2023 Hero Xtreme 160R vs TVS Apache RTR 160R 4V: Hero MotoCorp has launched the new Xtreme 160R in India, in which many updates have been given as compared to its previous model. The initial ex-showroom price of 2023 Hero Xtreme 160R 4V has been kept at Rs 1.27 lakh. In terms of its specifications, it competes with its nearest rival TVS Apache RTR 160 4V.
Design and Color Comparison
People can like the design of both of them according to their own. Both these naked streetfighters look very aggressive and are eye-catching. The new Xtreme 160R 4V has been introduced in three color variants, which include Blazing Sports Red, Matte Slate Black and Neon Shooting Star. While TVS Apache RTR 160 4V is available in four paint schemes, which include Matte Black, Metallic Blue, Night Black and Racing Red.

The new Extreme 160R has a 163.2cc, single-cylinder, air and oil-cooled engine, which generates power of 16.6 bhp and peak torque of 14.6 Nm. Whereas, TVS Apache RTR 4V gets a 159.7cc, single-cylinder, oil-cooled, fuel-injected motor that generates 17.3 bhp power and 14.7 Nm torque. Both the motorcycles get a 5-speed manual gearbox.
Hardware and Features Comparison
For suspension duties, the Extreme 160R 4V gets USD front forks while the TVS Apache RTR 160 4V gets traditional telescopic front forks and a mono-shock absorber at the rear. Braking is handled by a single-channel ABS system with a disc at the front and disc/drum at the rear. Both have a digital instrument cluster with Bluetooth connectivity.

The ex-showroom price of the new 2023 Hero Xtreme 160R 4V is between Rs 1.27 lakh and Rs 1.37 lakh. Whereas the ex-showroom price of TVS Apache RTR 160 4V starts at Rs 1.24 lakh and goes up to Rs 1.32 lakh.
