Upcoming Bikes: Royal Enfield’s bikes are sold tremendously in the country, while the company is performing brilliantly in terms of exports. Royal Enfield has carved a niche for itself in the Indian two wheeler market. Royal Enfield dominates the 350cc to 500cc segment. To reduce this dominance of the company, other companies are also making their preparations. Bajaj Auto and Hero MotoCorp are preparing a new bike lane with Triumph and Harley-Davidson respectively to compete with Royal Enfield’s bikes. Let’s see which models are going to be brought in the market.
Harley-Davidson X440
The Harley-Davidson X440 bike will be the company’s cheapest motorcycle in the country. In this bike you will get 440cc, single-cylinder, air/oil-cooled engine. Its engine will be more powerful than the Royal Enfield Classic 350. A round headlight has been given in the front of this upcoming bike, in the middle of which a DRL bar is seen. Along with this, round indicators, fully digital instrument cluster and Bluetooth connectivity will be seen.
Triumph Speed 400
Bajaj-Triumph’s Speed 400 and Scrambler 400X have recently been officially unveiled in London. This is the first bike to come from Triumph’s partnership with Bajaj, and will be manufactured in India by Bajaj Auto. The styling details of the Speed 400 are similar to those of the Speed Twin 900, while the Scrambler 400X borrows its design from the Scrambler 900. The sale of both these bikes will start in India on 5th July. Harley-Davidson will bring the X440 roadster, this bike will be produced in association with Hero MotoCorp. Whereas this bike will be launched on 3rd July.

Both the Bajaj-Triumph Speed 400 and Scrambler 400X motorcycles are powered by a 398cc, DOHC architecture liquid-cooled engine. This engine is capable of generating 40bhp power and 37.5Nm torque. Talking about the transmission, a 6-speed gearbox has been given in it.
