Twitter Restrictions: Elon Musk has implemented a new rule on the platform to prevent data theft from Twitter. Now users without an account will not be able to access Twitter posts etc. Also, Musk has set a read limit for existing users as well. According to the latest development, paid i.e. Blue Tick users will be able to see 10,000 tweets in a day, unverified users 1,000 and newly added unverified users will be able to see only 500 posts on Twitter in a day. After crossing the fixed limit, users will not be able to access Twitter.
ex-CEO gave a reaction
Twitter’s ex-CEO Jack Dorsey has given his reaction on this decision of Elon Musk. He tweeted, “Running Twitter is hard, I don’t want anyone to be pressured.” I am also guilty… He further wrote that this decision of Musk has been taken to take the company forward which will happen soon.
In another tweet, Jack Dorsey wrote that I hope Musk will consider building a truly censorship-resistant open protocol like Bitcoin and Nostra.
Running Twitter is hard. I don’t wish that stress upon anyone. I trust that the team is doing their best under the constraints they have, which are immense. It’s easy to criticize the decisions from afar…which I’m guilty of…but I know the goal is to see Twitter thrive. It will.
