Toyota Cars Price Hiked Toyota Kirloskar Announced The Price Hike For Their All Models

Toyota Kirloskar Motor: Toyota Kirloskar Motor India has increased the prices for its entire lineup range of SUVs and cars for India. The increased prices have also come into effect from July 5, 2023. For the second time in the current financial year, the company has increased the price of its cars.

Why the prices of cars increased

At present, Toyota has not given information about the extent of the increased prices and the details of the new prices for each model. The reason for the increase in this price has been attributed by the company to the increase in input cost. Issuing a statement, the company said that it has ensured that the impact of rising input costs is minimal on customers.

How much did the price increase?

At present, the price of the company’s most demanding car Innova Highcross has increased from Rs 18.35 lakh to Rs 18.52 lakh. At the same time, the price of Urban Cruiser Highrider has also increased and now starts from Rs. 10.86 lakhs. The starting price of the company’s most popular SUV Fortuner has now gone up to Rs 32.99. According to an estimate, the company has already increased the prices of all cars by 1.5 to 2 percent.

The company sells these cars

Currently, Toyota sells cars like Urban Cruiser Highrider, Glanza, Innova Crysta, Innova Highcross, Fortuner, Fortuner Legender, Camry and Vellfire in India. In June 2023, the company sold 19,608 units, which is 19 percent more than in June 2022. The company is preparing to bring a new SUV coupe, a new 7 seater SUV and the new generation Toyota Fortuner based on the Maruti Franks in the next few months.
