The Six Seater Variants Of Mahindra XUV 700 Would Be Launched In This Festive Season

Mahindra XUV 700 New Variants: There is a huge demand for SUV segment cars in the Indian automobile market and some selected cars are very popular in this segment. One of these is the Mahindra XUV 700, which was launched by the company in August 2021 and has sold more than 1 lakh units so far. It has become the fastest Mahindra SUV to reach this feat. Now to further increase its sales, the company is going to include five new variants in the XUV700 model lineup. Which includes one mid-spec variant and three high trim variants. To include these new automatic and AWD variants, the company may consider discontinuing some petrol and diesel variants.

Four of the five new variants of the XUV700 could be launched during the festive season of this year. A new AX5 L variant can be included in this purchase SUV lineup, which will be placed between the AX7 and AX7 L variants. Apart from this, one more variant along with three other variants, AX9 and AX9 L will be placed above the AX7 variant in the lineup.

Can get 6-seater variant

Recently, the 6-seater version of Mahindra XUV700 was spotted during testing, which the company can bring to compete with Tata Safari and MG Hector Plus. The 6-seater version of this SUV will get captain seats for the second row, apart from this no other changes are expected in its design, features and powertrain. Currently, this SUV has the option of 2.0L turbo petrol and 2.2L diesel engine. Its 6-seater variant will be based on the top trim, which will get AWD system with diesel engine.

New features can be found

Apart from the new variants, Mahindra may also make some changes to the features of the XUV 700. However, no official disclosure has been made about it yet. But according to some media reports, it may get a powered tailgate, rear LED strip, sliding second row, powered IRVM, ventilated front and rear seats and support for updated connected apps.

who will compete

The Mahindra XUV700 will compete with the Tata Safari, which currently gets a 2.0L turbo diesel engine. Soon, the option of a 1.5L turbo petrol engine will also be included in its facelift version. It is available in 6 and 7 seater options.
