Luxury car sales in the first half of 2023

In the first 6 months of 2023, Mercedes-Benz has sold 8,528 units of cars in India, which was 7,573 units in the first half of last year. This year an increase of 12.61% has been recorded. Whereas during the same period, BMW has sold 5,476 units as against 5,191 units last year, a growth of 5.49%. At the same time, Audi has sold 3,474 units with a huge increase of 96.83%, which was 1,765 units in the first half of 2022. During this period, 1,089 units of Volvo cars have been sold, which was 818 units last year.

Mercedes Benz

Mercedes-Benz India has sold 8,528 units of cars in the first 6 months of 2023 with an annual increase of 12.61 percent. The demand for the company’s top-end cars, which cost Rs 1 crore or more, is very high and has seen a growth of 54 per cent. The company has sold the most Mercedes-Benz E-Class sedan and GLE SUV.

BMW India

BMW Group India has sold 5,867 units of cars from January to June this year. There has been an annual increase of 5.5 percent in this. According to BMW India, SUV sales account for more than 50 percent of the company’s total sales. The company’s X1 is the most sold in India.

Audi India

Audi India has sold a total of 3,474 cars in the period from January to June 2023, registering a growth of 97 percent on an annual basis. The company is also going to launch the Q8 e-tron soon. At the same time, Volvo Car India registered a 33 year-on-year growth by delivering 1,089 cars in the first half of 2023. The XC60 SUV is the best selling model of the company in India.
