The Facelifted Version Of Hyundai I20 Is Spotted During Testing

Hyundai i20 Facelift Specifications: Hyundai Motor’s entry-level models Grand i10 and premium hatchback i20 sell in huge numbers every month. In January this year, the company launched the Grand i10 Nios in the facelift version. After this, the company is now preparing to bring the facelift version of the i20 to the market. This car can be launched by the end of this year. Currently, the company is testing this car. But its official launch timeline has not been revealed yet. Although not much change is expected in the i20 facelift. But some new features can be included in it along with cosmetic changes.

Talking about the interiors, the car is likely to get new upholstery along with a new color theme. Along with this, dashcam, ventilated front seats, ambient lighting system and 6 airbags can be given as standard. The facelift version of this car is likely to get features like 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity, wireless charger, connected car technology, cruise control and automatic climate control.

Design

Many important changes can be made in the front fascia of the Hyundai i20 facelift. It also gets an updated bumper, grille with arrow shaped inlets and redesigned headlamps with repositioned LED DRLs. Along with this, new taillamp clusters can also be given with Z-shaped LED insert. Apart from this, it can get Polar White, Fiery Red, Typhoon Silver, Titan Grey, Starry Night, Fiery Red with Black Roof and Polar White with Black Roof and some other color options.

The existing 1.2L naturally aspirated petrol and 1.0L turbo petrol engine options will continue to be available in the i20 facelift as well. In which respectively 83bhp power and 114Nm torque output and 120bhp power and 172Nm torque output will be available. It will continue to be offered with the existing 5-speed manual, 7-speed DCT automatic and CVT automatic gearbox options.

who will compete

The car will compete with the Tata Altroz, which is offered with a 1.2L petrol and a 1.5L diesel engine option. Also, a CNG option is also available in it.
