Ather Energy Finance Scheme: After recently launching a loan product of 60 months, Ather Energy has now launched a special scheme for select customers to avail up to 100 percent on-road finance for their EVs.

In fact, Ather has collaborated with some of India’s leading finance retailers, banks and NBFCs to offer attractive finance schemes to its customers, as well as opening doors for other OEMs in the country. These include partnerships with IDFC First Bank, HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, Bajaj Finance, Axis Bank, Hero Fincorp and Cholamandalam Finance, which will now provide up to 100% on-road financing to customers.
Due to the impact of new subsidy rates on EV prices, these partnerships will enable Ather Energy to offer loans to customers as per their preferences. Due to which the sales of the company’s electric two-wheelers will get a boost.

Speaking about the new scheme, Ravneet Phokela, Chief Business Officer, Ather Energy, said, “The attractive vehicle product loans are a significant enabler for the growing two-wheeler industry in India. By partnering with leading retailers, banks and NBFCs, Ather has been able to offer attractive finance scheme options to its customers since inception.” He added, “Ather offers up to 100% funding and extended tenure options. With the launch of 2019, the company has been leading the way in making it more affordable for the people who prefer EV, due to which people are adopting electric vehicles faster.

Ather Energy has seen an increase in the number of customers opting for finance with a 6x increase in total financing since 2019. Along with big cities, the number of people taking vehicles on finance has also increased in small towns. Due to which there has been a boom in the sales of the company.

Ather Energy, recently partnered with IDFC First Bank, HDFC Bank, Hero Fincorp, Bajaj Finance Ltd, Axis Bank and Cholamandalam Finance to become the first two wheeler EV OEM to offer the product on 60 months finance. Due to which the monthly EMI for Ather customers has come down to Rs 2,999.
