New Generation Hyundai Santa Fe: South Korean automaker Hyundai Motor has not yet revealed its next generation Santa Fe SUV. But recently leaked spy pictures have revealed its final design. Sometime back a report revealed that the new Santa Fe will get major styling updates on the interiors and exteriors and will look more premium than the outgoing model.
Next Generation Hyundai Santa Fe Exterior
The styling of the new Santa Fe will be a boxy design away from the round edges of its predecessor, as seen in the Land Rover Defender. It gets H-shaped patterns at places like the LED daytime running lamps, grille and the air dam on the front bumper. The bonnet looks like a clamshell and is quite flat and merges with the raised A-pillar.
The wheel arches look raised, angular and slab-sided. Its A- and B-pillars have been painted in shining black colour. While the C- and D-pillars have been given body color treatment. The roof rails slope down slightly at the rear, which connects to the rear windscreen and tailgate. The SUV gets a new light bar placed below the tail-lamp housing, closer to the rear bumper. The new Santa Fe gets thick, contrast black body-cladding all around for an SUV look. In the leaked images, the Santa Fe flaunts stylish multi-spoke alloy wheels, similar to the Range Rover. Its length is likely to be around 5 meters.

Only one picture of the interior of the Santa Fe has been revealed. In this, like the exterior look, the cabin also looks premium. It has been given many colors and styling. Which is made from a soft touch material. Dual screens for infotainment and instrumentation and an AC vent have been provided below the infotainment unit. The functions of its center console can be controlled through a touchscreen. There is a possibility of getting 2 and 3-row seating layout in it.

Currently, the Hyundai Tucson is the company’s most premium SUV in India, so if the Santafe arrives here, it will be positioned above the Tucson. In the three row layout, it can compete with the Toyota Fortuner, which has the option of a petrol and a diesel engine. At present, there are no signs of Santafe coming to India.
