Suzuki Access 125 The Production Of Suzuki Access 125 Scooter Is Crossed 5 Million Units

Suzuki Access 125 Scooter: Suzuki Motorcycle India rolled out the 5 millionth unit of its Access 125 scooter at its Kherki Dhaula plant in Gurugram, Haryana. The company launched this scooter in 2007, when it was the first scooter in the 125cc segment. This milestone of 5 million units has been achieved by this scooter in about 16 years.

What did the company say?

Commenting on the scooter achieving this milestone, Kenichi Umeda, MD, Suzuki Motorcycle India said, “This is a huge milestone for all of us at Suzuki Motorcycle India. This reflects our commitment to Access 125 and the trust our customers place in it, both in the domestic and overseas markets. The current Access 125 has been developed keeping in mind the Indian customers and comes loaded with a host of convenient features.”

Suzuki Access 125 gets a 124cc, fuel-injected, single-cylinder engine for power which generates power of 8.7hp and torque of 10Nm. This scooter is available in three variants. Which includes Standard, Special Edition and Ride Connect Edition. Its ex-showroom price in Delhi starts from Rs 79,400, which goes up to Rs 89,500 for the top model. At present, apart from Access 125, Honda Activa 125, TVS Jupiter 125 and Yamaha Fascino 125 are also present in the 125 cc segment in the country.

who competes with

This scooter competes directly with TVS Jupiter and Honda Activa 125 in the market. TVS Jupiter 125 gets a 124.8cc BS6 engine, which produces 8.04 bhp power and 10.5 Nm torque. With both front and rear drum brakes, the TVS Jupiter 125 gets a combined braking system on both the wheels. Its ex-showroom price starts from Rs.85,468.
