Royal Enfield Started The Testing Of Their Classic 650 For Indian Market/gl

New Royal Enfield Bikes: Royal Enfield is preparing to launch many new bikes in the next few years. In which many new models ranging from 350cc to 650cc will be included. The company has designed six new 650cc motorcycles under this plan, including the Shotgun 650, Himalayan 650, Bullet 650, Classic 650, Scrambler 650 and a retro-styled Continental GT 650 racing bike. Several spy pictures and videos of the Shotgun 650 and Scrambler 650 have already been seen. The company has also started testing the Royal Enfield Classic 650. The first set of spy pictures has surfaced on the internet, revealing several design elements.

Design

Painted in black, the testing mule of Royal Enfield Classic 650 gets a retro-style round shaped headlight with position lights on either side. It gets a drop shaped fuel tank and a split seat, similar to the Classic 350. Wire spoke wheels are seen in the testing model. It also gets a longer mudguard, straight drive handlebar and centre-set footpegs. A round shaped taillamp and dual peshooter exhausts have been given in its rear.

At the moment, no other details have been revealed, although it can be seen in color TFT display, a semi-digital instrument cluster, tripper navigation display, two trip meters and classic 350 switchgear. This new 650cc bike can be equipped with cruiser telescopic. Front forks and rear twin shock absorbers have been given in it. For braking, it is likely to get power front and rear disc brakes. Standard dual-channel ABS with anti-lock braking system will be seen in this bike.

engine

The new Royal Enfield Classic 650 will use the same 648cc, oil-cooled, twin-cylinder engine as the Interceptor 650 and Continental GT 650. It will be mated to a 6-speed gearbox with slip and assist clutch. This engine can generate power of 47 bhp at 7250 rpm and maximum torque of 52Nm at 5250 rpm.

When will it be launched

Information about the launch timeline of Royal Enfield Classic 650 has not been revealed yet, but it is expected to be launched in early 2025.

who will compete

This bike will compete with Honda CB 650R, in which a 649 cc engine is available. This bike is available in 1 variant and two color options.
