Renault Rafale SUV: French automobile company Renault officially unveiled its all-new hybrid electric SUV on June 19 at the Paris Air Show. The company claims that the design language of this car has been taken from aviation, as well as it has been named after a fighter jet.

To give the SUV a modern look, it gets sharp LED elements as well as a coupe-like roofline. This car is the first model of the company, in which a completely new design language has been used. On the design front, it sports a sporty silhouette with a raised rear-back design and the front gets a new radiator, black grille, signature LED headlight with fog lights and a large airdam.

On the other hand, talking about the features present in its cabin, a large 12-inch size infotainment system, 12-inch instrument cluster and a 9-inch driver head-up display are also present inside. The dashboard of this car is made of dyed cork and slate. At the same time, the ambient lighting present in it works to brighten up the cabin.

This Renault car has been built on the new CMF-CD modular platform. On which SUVs like Astral and Espace have also been prepared. According to the company, this car has been designed keeping in mind the driving comfort as well as better space.

In terms of dimensions, it measures 4710mm in length, 1860mm in width, 1610mm in height and has a wheelbase of 2740mm. Also, its ground clearance is 180mm.

This SUV is equipped with edited level-2 features, which makes it even better in terms of safety, as well as a panoramic sunroof.

engine

A 1.2l turbocharged hybrid petrol engine has been used in this SUV. Apart from this, there is an electric motor, high voltage starter generator and 2kWh lithium ion battery pack to power it, which has a total output of 197hp and torque of 205Nm.

When will be the entry in India

Renault Rafale is ready for launch and will start selling in Europe as well as some other markets by 2024, but at present no information has been given regarding its introduction in India.
