Price Hike On Tata Cars Tata Safari Nexon Harrier Around 20000 Increased On SUVs

Price Hike on Cars: Tata Motors has recently announced a marginal increase of 0.6% on the prices of all its models and their variants in the domestic market and these increased prices have also come into effect from July 17, 2023. The reason for the increase in the prices of vehicles is to offset the input costs. Due to this increase in prices, the company’s ICE engine SUVs have become expensive by about Rs. 20,000. Vehicles like Nexon, Harrier as well as Safari are present in this list.

After this increase by the company, the price of Tata Nexon has now gone up from Rs. 8 lakh to Rs. 14.60 lakh. On the other hand, the starting price of Harrier now goes from Rs 15.20 lakh to Rs 24.27 lakh and talking about the price of Safari, its starting price goes from Rs 15.85 lakh to Rs 25.22 lakh. All vehicle prices are ex-showroom.

According to the information given by Tata Motors, the increased prices will not be applicable on vehicles booked till July 16, 2023 and cars delivered till July 31, 2023.

Talking about the engine, the Nexon is available with a 1.2-litre turbo petrol engine that generates 120 PS of power and a 1.5-l diesel engine that generates 115 PS. Coming to the Harrier and the Safari, both are sold with an FCA-sourced 2.0-l diesel engine that produces 170 PS of max power and 350 Nm of peak torque. Apart from this, Tata Motors has also recently introduced two new variants of Altroz, XM and XM (S), whose starting price is Rs. 6.90 lakhs ex-showroom. The XM variant is positioned between the XE and the XM+, which is an affordable variant with an electric sunroof.
