Power Loss Problem in Hyundai Ioniq-5: Customers of the Hyundai Ionic-5 Electric SUV are complaining about complete or occasional loss of propulsive power of this car, as well as expressing concern about their safety with this car.

America’s National Highway Traffic Safety System (NHTSA) received complaints from 30 car owners. Those who told that they lost power partially or completely after the sound came from the car. This problem is due to power surge, due to which the transients get damaged, due to which the charging of the 12V battery present in the vehicle stops.

According to Fox News, the company has said that the software update could be available as early as next month and affected parts will be replaced if needed. On the other hand, according to the information given by the company, the company is fully cooperating in the investigation and is going to launch a service campaign in July to update the software of the affected vehicles.

While Hyundai and its subsidiary Kia are also facing a lawsuit in New York City, US. The reason for which is the viral video of a large number of stolen vehicles. Which became quite viral a few years ago on Tiktok and other platforms. On which it was claimed by the Attorney’s Office of the Southern District of New York that it was a mistake by the car manufacturer. Who forgot to install anti theft device in these vehicles. Because of which it could be very difficult to steal them.
