New Royal Enfield Bikes: Chennai-based two-wheeler manufacturer Royal Enfield will launch the Himalayan 450 as its next product in India. This bike bike has been seen covered with cover many times during testing, but recently its clear pictures have been captured in the camera. In these pictures, the bike is seen ready as its production model. New spy pictures have surfaced from Austria where the final round of testing of the bike is being done.
Features
The recently spotted testing model has been seen in black color with green stripes. Also, accessories like its accessory lights, side panniers with pannier mounts and a top box have also been spotted. It has been given a bulb shaped fuel tank, which looks bigger than the current Himalayan. Also, it can get full digital instrument cluster, Bluetooth connectivity with navigation, smartphone connectivity, wire-spoke wheels with dual purpose tubed tyres, and dual-channel ABS, ride modes and ride-by-wire.
Design
The Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 may get several segment-first features including a three-in-one taillamp setup. Its two LEDs act as flashers, turn signals, indicators and brake lights, as seen in the BMW S 1000 RR. It will also be the first Royal Enfield bike to come with all-LED lighting system and USD front forks.
powertrain
Apart from this, the Himalayan 450 will be the first model of Royal Enfield to get a new 450cc single-cylinder, this engine can generate power close to 35bhp-40bhp and torque of 40Nm.
who will compete
This bike will compete with the KTM 390 Duke, which gets a 373.27cc engine, which generates power of 42.9 PS. Whose ex-showroom price is Rs 2.97 lakh.
