MG Motors India: MG Motor India has released its sales report for the first half of this year. The company has sold more than 29,000 SUV cars in the first half of 2023, this figure is 21 percent higher on a year-on-year basis. The company had sold around 24,000 units in the first half of 2022.

How much did MG sell?

MG i.e. Morris Garages India has sold more than 29,000 vehicles in the first half of 2023. In this, the company’s Hector SUV was sold the most. After this ZS Electric remained the second best selling model for the company. It was the best selling model. ZS company has registered the highest retail sales in March 2023 after coming to India.

Will bring new cars soon

MG India currently sells four ICE engine SUVs and two electric vehicles in India. The company’s SUV line-up includes the Astor, Hector, Hector Plus and Gloster, while the electric range sells the Comet and ZS EV. MG Motor India recently announced that the company will soon invest Rs 5,000 crore and launch 4-5 new cars in India by 2028.

MG Motor India recently launched the new Comet EV at a starting price of Rs. 7.98 lakhs, ex-showroom. The new MG Comet gets a 17.3 kWh lithium-ion battery pack. The company claims to get a driving range of 230 km per charge. It gets features like two 10.25-inch screens, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, dual airbags, ABS with EBD, rear parking sensors, TPMS, a reverse parking camera, power windows, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, steering-mounted controls and keyless entry.
