Mercedes New Car: Mercedes-Benz has revealed its Vision One-Eleven concept car. The new two-seat hypercar sports a dramatic monolithic exterior design, gullwing doors and a sleek cockpit with silver upholstery, created as a tribute to the firm’s experimental C111, which was produced in the late 1960s and early 1960s. To celebrate the new concept car, Mercedes has created a range of One-Eleven accessories, including a weekend bag, sunglasses, a hoodie, a hat and a smartphone case emblazoned with ‘Limited Edition 1 of 111’ Is.
Vision One-Eleven Powertrain
The Vision One-Eleven uses two rear-mounted axial-flux electric motors from British firm Yasa and liquid-cooled cylindrical cells developed for Mercedes-AMG’s UK-based Formula 1 division and a battery with Novell Cell Chemical Science Has gone. Yasa says that its axial-flow motor weighs just one-third of the radial-flux motors used in Mercedes’ current EQ EVs. Oxford-based, Yasa has been a 100 per cent subsidiary of Mercedes since 2021.
Vision One-Eleven Design
The styling of the One-Eleven combines the clean surface body form and flush-fitting glass canopy with advanced aerodynamic functions and an array of details, making the C111 series look striking. A low-set front end seems to copy the look of the older C111 prototype, which gets a pixelated grille with round headlamps underscored by a large carbon-fibre splitter along with a bluff nose section. There are three air intakes just behind the headlamps. Along with this, a 70 degree windshield with twin air vents and a vertical rake has been given, which extends till its roof. The rear gets a huge spoiler which extends to increase downforce. There is a pixelated section at the front and a diffuser at the bottom. Mercedes’ Chief Design Officer, Gordon Wagner compared the silhouette of the 4.6 meter long supercar to the EQE and EQS electric sedans in the market.
Vision One-Eleven Interior
The two-seat squab with pedals is integrated into the floor, the leather F1-style steering wheel and adjustable seatbacks give the driver a decent driving comfort, just like the F1-engined Mercedes AMG One hypercar fades away. The silver upholstery on the seats is paired with white cloth and orange leather for a special color combination.
Will compete with Porsche 911
The car will compete with the Porsche 911, which is offered with a 3.0L and a 4.0L petrol engine option. It is offered in 2 and 4 seater options with both automatic and manual options.
