Maruti New MPV: Maruti Suzuki is going to launch the new Invicto MPV based on Japanese automaker Toyota’s Innova Highcross MPV in the country on July 5, 2023. However, Maruti Suzuki has not yet disclosed important information about this new car. But through the recent spy pictures and its official teaser, we have got a lot of information about it. How will be the design?

Talking about the design of Maruti Invicto, its overall layout will be similar to Toyota Innova Highcross. But Maruti Suzuki will definitely make some changes to its exterior. It will also get a redesigned front bumper with two vertical chrome slats. As per the earlier spotted test model, other significant changes include missing plastic cladding on the wheel covers. Also, it will get new diamond-cut alloy wheels. Which is not available in Innova Highcross.

Talking about its interior, apart from the dual-tone black and brown theme found in the Innova Highcross, it will get an all-black theme in the Invicto. While all the features are expected to be same in it. Maruti Suzuki may offer the Invicto in only one fully-loaded variant called the Alpha+. However, to keep its cost down, Maruti Suzuki can reduce some features in it.

The car will get a 2.0L petrol engine similar to the Hycross and a 2.0L Atkinson cycle petrol engine with hybrid system, which will generate 185PS power and 204 Nm torque. Petrol engine with CVT and hybrid model will get e-CVT automatic transmission.

who will compete

This MPV will compete with the Mahindra XUV 700 in the market, in which a diesel and a petrol engine option is available. ADAS is also available in it.
