Maruti Suzuki Invicto vs Toyota Innova Hycross: Veteran carmaker Maruti Suzuki has recently launched its premium MPV Invicto, which is based on the Innova Highcross. After the arrival of Invicto in the market, a lot of movement is being seen. The company is getting good response regarding this. Innova Highcross is also in huge demand in the country. So let us know what are the main differences between these two cars.
1. Both differ in terms of styling and looks, especially the Invicto gets new-looking headlamps with double chrome slats and Nexa three block LEDs, as well as a new front bumper with a different skid plate. Unlike the Highcross, the Invicto does not get any hybrid badging on the side, apart from this, the Invicto gets 17-inch wheels while the Highcross gets 18-inch wheels. The rear tail-lamp design of both the cars is also different. Talking about the dimensions as well, there has been no change in it.
2. The Highcross uses black and brown color scheme for the interiors with lighter dualtone upholstery, while the Invicto gets an all-black look with gold accents instead of silver.
3. Talking about the features, both the cars are similar. However, ADAS, JBL audio system and Ottoman seats are not available in Invicto. Apart from this, both the cars get the same 7/8 seater configuration with touchscreen and other key features. The Highcross also comes with the option of a 2.0L petrol engine with a hybrid powertrain, while the Invicto is available with the hybrid powertrain only in certain trims.
4. Talking about the price range of Highcross, it starts from Rs. 18.8 lakhs to more than Rs. 30 lakhs. Whereas the Invicto is cheaper in comparison, but its starting price range is higher. It only gets a hybrid powertrain, which costs between Rs 24.7 lakh to Rs 28.4 lakh. Also, the Invicto might be available to buyers earlier due to the longer waiting period of the Hycross.
