Maruti Suzuki Brezza Features: Vehicle manufacturer Maruti Suzuki has made some changes in the technology and features of its best-selling SUV Brezza. The subcompact SUV now gets seat-belt reminder for all passengers, whereas earlier it was available only for the front seats. But with this, the hill hold assist and electronic stability program have been removed from its CNG model.

Removed in mild hybrid system

Apart from the features, Maruti has also removed the mild hybrid technology from the 1.5L petrol manual variant of this car, due to which its mileage has come down to 2.77kmpl, now it is being claimed to get 17.38kmpl mileage. The Brezza automatic returns a mileage of 20.15kmpl. The CNG variant of this SUV gets a 1.5L petrol motor engine with a factory-fitted CNG kit. On CNG, this car generates maximum power of 87.8bhp and torque of 121.5Nm. The car gets the option of 5-speed manual and 6-speed automatic transmission.

No change in prices

Even after reducing many features, the company has not made any change in the prices of this SUV. The Maruti Brezza is currently available at an ex-showroom price of Rs 8.29 lakh to Rs 13.98 lakh. While the ex-showroom price of its CNG model is between Rs 9.24 lakh to Rs 12.15 lakh.

The company is expanding the portfolio

Maruti is continuously increasing its vehicle portfolio. The company has launched three new models this year, including the introduced Frunks compact crossover, 5-door Jimny and the Invicto Premium Strong Hybrid MPV.

The Maruti Suzuki Brezza competes with the Tata Nexon, which is offered with a 1.2L petrol and a 1.5L diesel engine option.
