Manufacturing PMI Dipped To 57.7 In July From 57.8 In June Showing Slow Growth Of It

Manufacturing Purchasing Managers’ Index: The pace of manufacturing in the country seems to be slowing down a bit. According to a recent survey by S&P Global, the Purchasing Managers’ Index (PMI) figure for the manufacturing sector stood at 57.7 in July. For the second consecutive month, a decline has been registered in the manufacturing PMI and in the last month i.e. June it had come down to 57.8.

How much was the manufacturing PMI in June?

In June, the manufacturing PMI figure stood at 57.8, while in May also the manufacturing PMI data stood at 58.7 with a good pace, which shows the good pace of manufacturing activities in the country. By the way, the figure of Manufacturing PMI has been showing figures above 50 for two consecutive years, which can be called a good sign.
