India’s First Armored Light Specialist Vehicle: The deliveries of Armado, a specially made ALSV (Armoured Light Specialist Vehicle) vehicle for the Army, have started. Whose information was shared by Mahindra Group Chairman Anand Mahindra on his Twitter handle. This vehicle has been developed by Mahindra Defense Systems of Mahindra Group.

specially made for army
Mahindra Armado has been specially designed for the use of the country’s army (Military and Defense). According to the information given on the company’s website, this car can be upgraded and made ready for large operations in the field if required. It is also capable of providing protection against ALSV B7 Stang Level II ballistic attack.
The ALSV is capable of providing Stang Level I ballistic and blast protection with munitions for up to four soldiers on the front, side and rear of the battlefield, and is capable of carrying a load of up to 400 kg . If required, it can also be upgraded to provide Stang Level II ballistic protection.
Mahindra Armado Engine
The Mahindra Armado is powered by a 3.2L diesel engine, which gives it 215hp power. It is paired with automatic transmission. Apart from this, it is equipped with standard 4X4 with 1000 kg payload capacity on front and rear axle, self recovery and independent suspension on all four wheels.
The military-spec ALSV self-cleaning type exhaust system also comes with air filtration, which enables it to work in desert-like terrains. At the same time, its top speed is up to 120 km/h and it is capable of catching the speed of 0-60 km/h in just 12 seconds. Apart from this, it can be stopped even at 30 degrees with the parking brake.
