Kia carnival discontinued: The company has stopped the sale of Kia Carnival, one of the country’s most popular luxury MPV cars, in the Indian market. Due to which it has been included in the list of cars which have been discontinued in the Indian market in the last few months. The car came with a lot of features and great looks. Also, its engine was quite powerful. It got gesture sensing doors, screens on the rear seats and a 7 seater layout. But still people did not like it much. At present, the company has unlisted it from its official website, but its next generation model is expected to hit the market soon.

why people rejected

Kia entered the Indian market in the year 2019 with the Seltos and a year later the company launched the Carnival in India. Then whose initial ex-showroom price was Rs 25 lakh. But the company later increased its price to Rs 35.49 lakh, and at this price there are many options of big luxury SUV cars in the market. Because of which people shunned it.

Was present in three variants

The Kia Carnival was present in the country in three trims namely Prestige, Limousine and Limousine Plus. In which the option of 6 and 7 seater layout was available. It was powered by a 2.2-litre diesel engine, which generates 200PS power and 440Nm torque. It was given an 8-speed automatic gearbox.
