Kia Seltos: Kia Seltos is being sold in India since 2019. Since then till now no major update has been seen in it. The entry of Seltos in the mid-size segment became the biggest reason for its success, although now there are a lot of new options in this segment and automobile companies are competing to outdo each other. That’s why in order to maintain its dominance in this segment, the company is going to debut the facelift variant of Kia Seltos in India next month.

This model has been introduced globally only in 2022

Although the company has introduced this car at the Los Angeles Auto Expo 2022 itself. According to which, there are many changes in its interior and exterior design, along with some mechanical changes have also been made in it.

So it is expected that a lot can be taken from the global variant, which is also known by looking at some spy pictures. The front of the new facelift variant gets a tiger nose grille, redesigned headlamps, LED DRLs merged with the grille. At the same time, its side profile has been kept the same as before without tampering. Although new alloy wheels have been included in it. Talking about its back side, new LED tail lights can be seen in it, which can be of full width.

Apart from this, if we talk about the new features available in it, then 2 new designed panoramic displays can be seen in it. In which an infotainment and an instrument cluster, apart from this, a panoramic sunroof with ADAS safety technology as well as the latest features can be seen.

On the other hand, talking about its engine, the company is available in 1.5l petrol and diesel engines in its current variants in India. While its new variant is expected to get a 1.5l petrol turbo engine, which may be able to give it 160Ps of power. The company is already using this engine in its Kia Carens.

The upcoming Kia facelift Seltos will compete with vehicles like Hyundai Creta, Skoda Kushock, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara in the Indian market.
