Threads should just be called tweets: Meta has launched Threads app and Twitter’s troubles have increased due to this. Already the company is struggling with many things and now after the launch of Thread, the competition has increased further. Threads has crossed 50 million userbase and Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg is hopeful that it will soon cross 1 billion userbase. Actually, Meta has connected threads with Instagram, due to which its userbase is very large.
Will tweet be spoken in threads as well?
Till now, when we used to write anything on Twitter, it was called tweet. We all used to say that so-and-so has tweeted and then some person has re-tweeted it. But will the word tweet be used in the Threads app as well or is there some other word for it, we are going to tell you this. In fact, when this question was asked to the CEO of Instagram, Adam Mosseri, he replied by saying that in a way it can be said. That is, like Twitter, you can use the word tweet here too. After some time, a post was shared on the platform by the Threads app, in which the company explained some terminology that people could use in the app.
Threads told in his post that when a person writes a thought on the platform, it will be called a post. That is, you can use the word post instead of tweet. If any discussion starts then it will be known as threads that so-and-so person has started threads. If you want to share someone’s post on your profile then it will be called re-post. If you write your thoughts on someone’s post then it is called quoting.
Meanwhile, Elon Musk is not happy with Mark Zuckerberg. Twitter has accused Meta of data theft and threatened to take the company to court. Elon Musk’s lawyer has written a letter to Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg accusing him of hiring ex-Twitter employees. It also said that these employees had and still have access to Twitter’s trade secrets and other highly confidential information.
