Hyundai Motor Debut The High Performance N Line Variant Of Ioniq 5 Suv In England

Hyundai Ioniq 5N: Hyundai Motor Company has introduced its first electric car Ioniq 5 N under its high performance N line-up. The car made its global debut at the Goodwood Festival of Speed ​​in West Sussex, England. In this, many cosmetic and mechanical updates have been given compared to the regular Ionic 5 EV. According to the company, this high performance centric N represents the future of electric models of the brand.

Interior & Exterior

The new Hyundai Ionic 5 includes several design elements that enhance performance. It gets a roof spoiler, 21-inch alloy wheels shod with Pirelli P-Zero tyres, a lip spoiler at the bottom of the bumper, low-slung stance, N-tuned brakes and a host of other changes. Its interiors have been given N-branded elements, which include steering wheel, bucket seats, door scuff panels, metal pedals. They have been specially designed for track driving.

Battery, Range and Performance

The Hyundai Ioniq 5 packs a massive 84 kWh battery pack that is mated to two electric motors. This powertrain generates a combined power of 600 Bhp. The electric motors in it spin up to 21,000 rpm with N Grin Boost and can generate up to 641 Bhp of power. The company has claimed that it can accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in just 3.4 seconds and has a top speed of 260 kmph. However, its driving range has not been announced yet.

Launch in India?

Currently, the new Ioniq 5 N EV has been introduced in the United Kingdom, while it will be launched in South Korea in the next few months and then in other global markets. Although no information is available about its launch in India. Currently, the ex-showroom price of its current model in India is Rs 45.95 lakh.

Competes with the Kia EV6

The Hyundai Ioniq 5 competes with the Kia EV6, which gets a 77.4kWh battery pack. In this, the company claims to get a range of 708 kilometers per charge.
