Hyundai Exter Micro SUV: Hyundai has recently launched the new micro SUV Xtor in India, at the time of launch the company’s COO Tarun Garg also revealed that Hyundai Xtor is likely to get 4 or 5 star rating in the crash test rating. At present, while buying a car, the customer is paying a lot of attention to the safety of the vehicle. The company has launched this car with 6 airbags and many standard safety features, which is also a necessity.
The car is in line for the stringent GNCAP crash test. The car needs more and more safety features to get a good score. For which a car needs to have ESC and 6 airbags, which is present in the Exeter. Also, it is important to note that none of the Exeter rivals get 6 airbags or ESC as standard. Apart from this, the company has also paid special attention to its structure. However, the real test comes when the car is sent for the GNCAP crash test. But it is not yet decided whether the company will do this or will send it for test after BnCap which is going to start later this year.
If we talk about the Exter, then all its trims have six airbags and ESC as safety features with seat-belt reminder and three-point seat belts. Apart from this, safety features like vehicle stability management, hill-assist control, ISOFIX child-seat mount have also been provided.
Hence, the Exeter could be the safest micro SUV in its category after the crash test by GNCAP or BNCAP. The Exter is offered with only a petrol engine, while its CNG variant is available with AMT and manual gearbox. At the same time, it has been launched at an introductory introductory price of Rs 5.99 lakh.
