Few things to keep in mind while registering yourself for online services on LIC portal:

Documents for LIC Online Services

Policy number of your own life insurance and life insurance of your minor children.
Installment premium under these policies (without service tax/GST).\
Scanned copy of PAN card or passport, the size of which is less than 100 kb.
The scanned copy should be in jpg or jpeg format. However, these copies can also be uploaded in bmp, png, gif and tiff formats.

How to register for LIC Online Services

Go to www.licindia.in and click on “Customer Portal”.
If you have not registered then click on ‘New User’.
Choose your own User-ID and Password and provide all the required information.
After this you will become a registered Portus user. After that click on “e-Services” and log in with your created user-id to avail the e-Services.
Register your policies to avail the e-services by filling the form given here. Print this form, sign it and upload its scanned copy. Upload the scanned copy of PAN Card or Aadhar Card or Passport. A receipt will be sent to you on e-mail and SMS after verification by LIC office. Now you are ready to avail LIC e-services.

In the next screen, you need to select the User ID and Password of your choice and submit. Click on Submit. Login through this newly created User ID and click on the option of ‘Basic Services’ ‘Add Policy’ and enroll all your remaining policies. LIC’s e-Services is its unique initiative which provides you on-demand service in just a few clicks. With this you will be able to do all the work online at your fingertips without going to LIC office.
