Upcoming Hero Bikes: Hero MotoCorp has been ruling the Indian market for a long time in the commuter two wheeler segment. But now the company wants to strengthen its hold in the premium segment as well. In this sequence, the company has launched Harley Davidson X440 and Extreme 160R 4V in the recent past. While two other models of the company have also been seen during testing recently. They have been spotted around Hero MotoCorp’s Center of Innovation and Technology in Jaipur.
Hero Xtreme 125R
Hero is preparing to bring the Xtreme 125R of its Extreme series to the market. It will get the same LED headlamp design as the Xtreme 160 R with an integrated H-shaped DRL, a new muscular fuel tank, split grab rail and split-seat design. A powertrain similar to the Hero Glamor 125 can be seen in it.

The Glamor 125 gets a 124.7cc, single-cylinder, fuel-injected engine, which generates 10.72 bhp at 7,500 rpm and 10.6 Nm of torque at 6,000 rpm and gets a 5-speed gearbox. However, the Xtreme 125 R will be tuned for more power and torque, giving it a direct competition from the Bajaj Pulsar NS125 and the TVS Raider.
Hero Xtreme 200R 4V
Hero MotoCorp is preparing to bring the Xtreme 200R 4V as well. Its styling is similar to the Xtreme 160R, but it comes with a more aggressive and muscular look.
Extreme 200R 4V Powertrain
Hero Xtreme 200R is likely to use the same 199.6cc single-cylinder, air-oil-cooled engine as the XPulse 200 4V. It will get a 5-speed gearbox with 4-valve head. This engine can generate 18.9 Bhp power and 17.35 Nm peak torque. It is likely to get dual-channel ABS and disc brakes at both ends along with telescopic front forks and rear mono-shock.
Will compete with TVS Apache RTR 200 4V
The Xtreme 200R 4V will compete with the TVS Apache RTR 200 4V, whose ex-showroom price ranges from Rs 1.42 lakh to Rs 1.47 lakh. It is available in 2 variants and 3 colours. It gets a 197.75 cc bs6 engine. It gets disc brake at both the ends.
